Bergen County educator Kimberly Bouchard, from the Fort Lee School District, was awarded a $750 grant to support a Yarn Crafters Club for 7th and 8th grade students. The club will give students interested in crafts such as crocheting, knitting, using looms, and making friendship bracelets an opportunity to build their skills and socialize with each other. The club is a student-led initiative that has attracted staff and students’ participation.
