Members of the North Bergen Education Association had a chance to learn more about their NJEA Member Benefits and how they can save thousands of dollars as a result of their union membership at a special event hosted by NJEA and the North Bergen Education Association.
NJEA UniServ Consultant Emily Litman guided the members through the information, playing a fun game of “Know Your Benefits Bingo.” Litman, a teacher in Jersey City, conducted the session in English and Spanish. The members got to have a good time, win some candy and learn how their union negotiates benefits to help them save money on everything from cars to appliances to vacations and much more.
