NJEA and Make Us Visible, NJ present...
Event Description
The most recent census data show that AAPI communities now make up over 10% of our state population. At the same time, they are facing an 82% rise in bias attacks. This workshop introduces important DE&I concepts specific to the AAPI experience and guides participants through understanding and engaging with these communities through an equity-based & intersectional lens.
