When it comes to knowing what’s best for schools and students, there’s no better resource than educators and school employees.  However, many don’t know what’s involved when they are interested in expanding their advocacy beyond the classroom to a seat on the board of education.  This training will provide a brief, and often humorous, overview of what being a board member entails—from campaigning to navigating board responsibilities once elected—as experienced by several current board members.
