NJEA celebrates women in education

Old Bridge. The event was organized by NJEA Secretary-Treasurer Petal Robertson and the NJEA Women in Education (WIE) Committee. Over 250 members attended the extravaganza, hosted by Robertson and NJEA UniServ Field Representative Fatima Hayes, former chair of the WIE Committee.

Members Reconnect

Retired members from across the state traveled to the Nottingham Ballroom in Hamilton on April 13 for the annual Spring Luncheon. It was the first NJREA in-person event and for so many it felt like homecoming. Connections—of which far too many had been missed during the pandemic—were renewed. Eager to learn the latest pensions and benefits news – and what retirees can do to help advocate for their issues – NJREA members packed the room.

Please be aware: the NJ Division of Pensions and Benefits (NJDPB) has been eliminating paper correspondence from their website? Recent deletions include the Direct Deposit form and the W4-P and NJW4P forms. Any retiree who would like to make changes to their banking information or tax withholding must make these changes through the Member Benefit Online System (MBOS).
