Inclusive Curricula, NJ’s Curriculum Standards, and You

Throughout this session, participants will become familiar with New Jersey's statutory curriculum inclusion requirements, including Amistad, Holocaust, LGBTQIA+, Persons with Disabilities, Asian American Pacific Islander, and Diversity and Inclusion.

We will discuss the purpose behind the statutes overall, the roles of students, educators, districts, and school boards, and the effects on student outcomes. Participants will leave with resources and supports to further their knowledge and deepen their awareness of the topic.
