Election Day is less than 35 days away! We all know how important this presidential election is and we also know that this election cannot be won without the help, perseverance, and solidarity of women!
On Nov. 5 the Power is In Our Hands to make sure we elect Kamala Harris for President and Tim Walz for Vice President. Kamala Harris will continue to bring us forward and not diminish the rights we have fought so hard to secure.
Join fellow NJEA women (and all allies are welcome) as we celebrate our solidarity, our commitment to democracy and to make sure we do all we can to Get Out the Vote for Harris & Walz.
On Saturday, Oct. 19 we will have two opportunities to celebrate this historic election:
- Join us at NJEA at 9 a.m. and carpool to PA to canvass for the campaign – we will return by 12:30 p.m. for the first NJEA Women for the Win – GOTV Kickoff and lunch. If you have never canvassed before, do not fret, we will provide a training beforehand and a canvass team if you need one. To join us register here.
- Join us in the Contemporary at NJEA at 12:30 p.m. for our NJEA Women for the Win – GOTV Kickoff – a joyous afternoon celebrating the power of women (especially union women!) and the difference they can make for every election but especially this one! To join us register here.
Of course, we would love to have you join us for both events, but feel free to join us for the one that works for you. Feel free to share this with your colleagues and the women who are important in your life.
