Sussex County educator Kory Loyola, from the High Point School District, was awarded a $7,285 grant to create a schoolwide educational symposium for more than 800 high school students. A committee of teachers and students will organize the event. The symposium promotes community-building, empathy and compassion, and a sense of belonging among students and staff. This grant has been designated as a Visions Federal Credit Union Grant for Social Justice.
