Essex County educator Breanne Mannes, from the Livingston School District, was awarded $5,000 to support a multi-cultural event showcasing the diverse backgrounds of students and their families. By learning about other people and cultures, students will be better equipped to understand and respect people from many different backgrounds, helping to create a school environment that truly appreciates what each person has to offer.
