We are saddened and horrified by the deadly terrorist attacks on Israel by Hamas. Terrorism is always wrong. We continue to mourn the loss of civilian lives.
We recognize that many New Jersey educators and students are affected by the violence against innocent people in Israel and Gaza. We also recognize that many people here in New Jersey and the United States are experiencing ongoing fear for their personal safety as a result. We stand with all of our members, students and communities in this frightening time and condemn all acts of terrorism and violence against civilians. NEA has resources and guidance available to help educators address these difficult issues with compassion.
