Presenting in High Tech Hall

NJEA and the New Jersey Center for Teaching and Learning (NJCTL) are once again proud sponsors of High Tech Hall at the 2014 NJEA Convention.  We are looking for talented NJEA members like YOU to demonstrate how they use state-of-the-art technology to enhance classroom instruction.  Tips on Creating Terrific Titles and Descriptions for your Convention Program

NJEA member presenters can apply to present in either the Technology Integration Showcase and/or the Technology Classroom. Both programs are scheduled in High Tech Hall on the exhibit floor.

The Technology Integration Showcase is an area for NJEA members to demonstrate how they use technology in their classrooms.  This is an informal demo area for educators to network with other educators.   Programs are scheduled for 2-hour time slots.

The Technology Classrooms are designed for 1-hour formal presentations in a classroom-style setting.  The classroom is equipped with laptop computers for participants. Programs selected for this area are intended for hands-on experiences.

We look forward to seeing you at the 2014 NJEA Convention.

PLEASE NOTE:

Wiki
Presenters in High Tech Hall will be required to complete a wiki page about their program prior to convention. Instructions on completing this assignment will be sent to you in the fall.

PD Credit
Your participation in this program as a presenter may qualify for continuing education credit. NJEA will provide a letter documenting your participation, upon request, after the Convention. However, your district must grant credit for your participation in this activity. Presenters are urged to discuss this activity with their supervisor prior to convention to determine if the activity will be included in their Professional Development Plan as a professional development experience that counts toward the 100-hour continuing education requirement.
