Closter EA Pancake Breakfast

The Closter Education Association was proud to host a pancake breakfast at Applebee’s in Northvale on March 3 to benefit schools recovering from Superstorm Sandy. CEA raised over $2,700, which they donated to the public schools in Red Bank.

NJEA Vice President Wendell Steinhauer, and his wife, Mary Steinhauer who is president of the Burlington County Education Association, attended the event. The Steinhauers joined CEA members in serving pancakes and running beverage stations. Students and families were thrilled to see their teachers, classroom aides, school secretaries, custodians, and maintenance staff pulling together for a great cause.
