NJEA PAC endorses primary candidates

The 125-member political action committee of the 200,000-member New Jersey Education Association (NJEA) has voted to endorse 10 candidates in the New Jersey Senatorial and General Assembly Primary Election.

“So many decisions that impact public education in New Jersey rest in the hands of our elected officials,” said NJEA President Barbara Keshishian. “Therefore, it is important for professional educators to take the time to interview and exchange ideas with those seeking office, so they can better understand the complexities of educating children in today’s world. We have chosen to endorse candidates who have indicated a solid commitment to public education and who recognize the need for educators and legislators to work collaboratively in the best interests of New Jersey students.”

NJEA PAC voted on the recommendations of local interview teams from each Legislative District. The complete list of NJEA PAC primary endorsements:
