New Jersey Education Association President Wendell Steinhauer released the following statement regarding Gov. Chris Christie’s announced presidential campaign:“Running New Jersey is a full-time job, and New Jersey residents deserve a full-time governor. “We face big problems in this state. Our credit rating is a disaster.  Our unemployment rate is high. Our economic growth is slow. Our infrastructure is crumbling. Our pensions are in crisis. The NJEA Reporter was published from 1944 to 1949 and from 1963 to 2014, when it merged with the NJEA Review. It focused on Association events and priorities such as collective bargaining, legislative actions, Member Benefits, and NJEA conferences and workshops. The NJEA Reporter also highlighted the actions of NJEA’s local and county associations.
