Julia Albertsen Vice President

Vice President

Julia Albretsen
The College of NJ

My name is Julia Albretsen. I am a junior Elementary Education and English major. I am the current Vice-President of the New Jersey Student Education Association and the current Secretary and incoming President of The College of New Jersey's chapter. I have so enjoyed serving as your vice-president, but my work is not done. I hope to continue the professional development, service, and political advocacy I have begun and continue to push our student program forward to new heights. My experience within the organization will best allow me to do so. Thank you so much for your vote!

Ellen Bacon Secretary-Treasurer

Ellen Bacon
Seton Hall University

Hello! To describe my relationship with NJSEA: dedication. I was a founding member of the Seton Hall Chapter and was just chosen as a Co-President for 2015. That being said, I am currently running for state secretary. There is nothing more important to me than becoming an effective teacher to my future students, and I believe NJSEA is the way to accomplish that. I am incredibly passionate about professional development to create well-rounded pre-service teachers. Additionally, I look forward to getting more involved in the “Degrees-Not-Debt” program in the upcoming year; along with becoming more active in PARCC legislation..
